Nordica Ace of Spades Boots

Hey, I have a pair of Nordica Ace of Spades boots size 28.5. They are in 7/10 condition, but the damage is only cosmetic. It is missing one heel plate but it does not affect the performance. The boot still locks in perfectly. These retail for 700$ new, so I think 250$ would be a fair price. I am open to offers and possibly trades.

Buy up!

the missing heel plate will most certianly effect these boots. They wont work with your bindings as they should. Replace them before riding so you release at the heelpiece.

They still release fine, still clicks in fine. I understand your concern but the quality isn't compromised. The space between the boot and ski are still the same. There is a piece where the white is the same level as where the green normally is so its not like the boot sits lower in the binding.

no, it is definitely unsafe, the buyer of these boots will have to replace the heel plate before they will correctly sit in the bindings. yeah, the boot will release but the contact between the binding and the boot will not be right and will mess with forward pressure, making it unsafe. A new heel piece is definitely necessary.

yep, the green pads on the bottom of that boot are there to ensure that the DIN's test out correctly and the boot will release properly. Your toe and heal lug height are all based on that. they pu those on there so your bindings could be safe with the vibram soles. They are not an expensive buy though.. great boot and great deal.

the heel plate needs to be replaced, the bottoms are not at level without them and its funny until ur skiing and whoops ur boots pop out of ur bindings and u have a bad injury, fix those asap man cause they definitely do effect preformance
