Nordica ace 1,2,3 star boots

I tried these boots on and really liked them. I know evey one needs a different boot and not everyone is the same but I was just wondering if anyone has used these boots and how they are actually skiing compared to just walking in them. And what is the difference between the three boots?

The main difference between the Ace boots are the flex ratings, however they also have a couple other noticeable differences. The Ace 1 star has a 105 flex, 2 star has a 115 and 3 star has a 130. The 3 star has the pant clip, while the other two models don't. Also a couple of major difference's with the 1 star are the different buckles (lower quality, but may be a wee bit lighter) and a smaller booster strap. I've been riding the Ace of Spades (Ace 3 Star) for a couple of years now, and have absolutely no complaints. Best boot out!

I've been on the Ace 3 Star the past few days now, I really like them. Coming from Full Tilts when I could fold the boot in half (after maxing out the flex of the boot) when making hard turns I find I have more control over my skis and it doesn't hinder my park performance at all. Really enjoying these boots.

So if I am about 5' 4'' and wiegh 120 and ski everywhere but mostly park at park city and I can ski everything there confidently which boot should I go with?

I would go 1 or 2 star just based on your weight. The other thing to note is these boots don't have a definitive flex. They are progressive. For example the 3 star is closer to a 110 in the short range and ramps up to a 130 when you lay into it. It's what gives to boot such good feel on rails but allows it to be really powerful everywhere else. Also the 2 and 3 star have better liners with articulating cuffs which maintain a natural feel when flexing the boot.

I found the ace 1 star for 265 brand new from local ski shop do you think that is the best deal I'll find? Thanks so much for the help

Try all 3 on. And see what flex feels best for you. I'm 220, but I'm in the 1 star. It just felt best. And with a booster strap it's really dialed.

The junior will be too soft... It's the same concept but very stripped down. And the flex is like a 60 or 70. The plastic shell is thinner and the liner is about as basic as it gets. No one over 100 pounds should ski that boot.
