His switch pow landings are epic...the last cliif 180 before the big crash at the end is amazing...can't wait for IDEA, Andy's finally going to get a decent part, you don't see much of him, I think it's people hating on no-poles.
 
He got the closing segment it war, it was epic. I don't think he started going no poles until this year, unless PBP just wouldn't let him film with them without poles which would be incredibly gay
 
His aprt in WAR was really good, but I'm interested to see more of his no-poles, and I don't care if people hate on it, he's one of the guys that make it look spectacular, maybe even better than skiing with poles.

guys were just starting to spin right in the park and land backwards in pow, pep did left and right 5 on a burley backcountry hit. he was doing noseblunts before anyone else had a single nose slide in thier part, only guy on his level that year was tanner and both thier parts in 1242 are better than any of that ski porn shit.

1242 was as close to a legitimate movie as skiing ever got and peps part definitley should have been the banger - give me a part that is comparable of that time not including tanner.
 
legendary things in that seg that were ahead of their time:

- second zero (huge as shit) straight into 3 on hip

- first BC sw5 (huge as well and if you listen to the commentary the first of the two is unnaty)

- switch 3 on hip to 3 in halfpipe

- banger 180 off cliff

- neck deep multiple drop line (well maybe that doesn't count as ahead of it's time but it is pretty much my dream line)

- roof jib

- silky switch pow carves

- double. kink. disaster. lipslide. nosepress. i mean fuckin seriously come on this was like four years ago and he stomps it like he's fucking sleeping.

oh and by the way every single trick is smooth as fuck and styled to shit.

not to mention the song is incredibly dramatic and the skiing/editing flows absolutely perfectly with the music at all times.

i could blow smoke up this segment's lovely asscrack all day long. i'm still waiting to see one that comes close to topping it on all around segment bad-assed-ness

 
wow. that seg is better than basically all the movies now, and that was 4 years ago... Pep is so cool.
 
me too....actually, its not really that old a movie in my opinion. the game and progaganda is what old is. and degenerates and state of mind(those are ancient)

YES!! I was raised by those movies. Speaking of which...

Vincent Dorions section on The Game (the one with the methodman song) was much like this one for its time. Someone should find it and post it here.
 
Amen, its not that old. Kids are just that young. Does anyone else feel like his skis look like they are 8 feet long???? It looks so awkward when is doing the double kink ledge at the begninng, cause he skis look way out of place.
 
This segment is without a doubt the most progressive segment EVER.

Hes doing switch landings, huge 180's, 270 urban rails,switch pow, HUGE FUCKING JUMPS and just tearing it up.
