Noob vs Newb?

My friend and I are in a heated discussion invovling the words Noob and Newb. He thinks that the words mean the exact same thing. But my argument is that Noob is a negative statement to say to someone that you dislike. If you were talking down to someone you would say Noob, but if you were saying something to someone with affection, like if your helping them, you would call them a Newb.

I agree with easysteezy. When i own someone in the face when im playing counterstrike i often refer to them as a noob, but when im teaching my brother about somthing i just say dont worry your still a newb. yeah somthin like that

newbs noobs and n00bz, every one was once a "newb" just some where assholes and became "n00bz"i think that "n00bz" are ignorant little fucks trying to start a fight that nead to get out of her and that a "newb" can be nurchard and cared for to become a atributing member of this site.
