yes i am a noob, to park skiing at least. i have been skiing for 4 years i just havent gone in teh park. tomorrow i am going up to smuggs but i wanna try some park stuff. should i just go for it and try a 3? i think smuggs has a mimi table like 12-15 feet or so. should i try smaller for my first jumps with tricks ansd shit. i can straight air them fine. im just wondering if i should flat out go for it or wait a little bit and find something smaller.

will anyoen from NS be at the smuggs ark tomorrow?

i was thinking about it. if i get hurt trying a 3 then i know that park isnt for me but after you get the first thing out of the way everything usually comes together easier from there. thats how it usually works. i mean you gotta have something to base your later tricks off of, right?

just throw it killa, its the only way to get a feel for things. everyone falls so tell those who laugh to shut up or put up!

just a heads up. you probably aren't gonna pull off an amazing 3, and most likely you will fall... but don't give up the first time, everyone falls... you just have to test it out and see whats right for you. Who knows, you might be really great.

as odd as it may sound to you as a biginer, 3s are way easyer to learn on bigger jump. it dosnt have to be 60 ft but the 20- 30 ft range is good. practice ur general air awarnes too

try some freestyle walking 3's!! make sure your always looking over your shoulder and not just twisting aimlessly!! its important to look with your head shoulders and waist, that will set your rotation well. i almost made my first 3 so dont worry, keep going for it you'll have it by the end of the day

oh and F.Y.I: if you said that it was your first time in the park and you were going for a triple backflip, people would still tell you to go for it.

just commit, keep your head turned if its a small small jump...they are easier to spin than you think

most ppl can do them off small rollers

that is a good point.

but you wont fuck yourself up too badly on a table that size if you don't come close to get 3

Yeah dude a 360 is the first trick you will learn and will be the basis of all your other tricks. Oh and good luck with it.

yea try it, you will probably fall a few times, or land really backseat.. but once you get 3's down good they become really fun and you will find yourself progressing faster after it.. just don't give up

try a 180 first because it is easier for you mind to accecpt the rotation. If you go out and try to spin a 3 on your first jump, you will get about 90 degrees, and your body will just shut down. Well, that was my experience when learning.

can someone help me find that movie called breckenridge or something and it has like candide and tj and sammy and pk and adreas and grete. i tried the serahc bar with videos and i couldnt find it.

i didnt feel like making a whole new thread
