Alright so i just got a 30 gb 5.5 gen ipod today and i was trying to put some limewire videos on, but they were in quicktime format so they didn't work. So i looked around and found this program that converts them to mpeg-4 video files, and they still won't go on.

It says that it wasn't sent to the Ipod because it cannot be played on this ipod. any help would be awesome. thanks

I havent put vids on my ipod for along time but, i think you need to put them in itunes then right click on them, and somthing will come up saying convert this video for my ipod.

ya i did and they play in itunes fine and stuff. And WTF, now i downloaded some podcasts from the itunes store which should work, and now they won't go on my ipod either.

no idea if this will help, but try making a playlist, and then putting the videos/podcasts in the playlist, and updating. then on your ipod, look for the playlist instead the videos, and see if they are there.

okay i might have figured it out. i looked at the info for the movies that worked and all the bit rates are over 100 kbps? I don't know what the fuck that means, but could that be it?

i think i got it but it's a pain in the ass. I have to convert them to mpeg4 first using this super program thing, then i have to use the right click

if you have itunes 7 when you plug your ipod in scroll down and it should say inable ipod for disc use press that

dont know wat program to use but the resolution probably has to be downscaled 4 it to work. ill ask my brother he knows
