Ok so on my 08 foils, there is a lump about 1mm high and 2 inches long on the base of my ski about 8 inches from the tip. Its right next to the edge, and theres a tiny bit of topsheet delam next to it. I just posted some pics...Question is, has this happened to anyone? Can I ski on it tomorrow? Can they fix this or do I need new skis? Fuuuuck help please, thanks

Has it always been like that or just come from nowhere?

08 Foils are still foam core aren't they? (I was thinking that water got into the core and the timber expanded, but that's prob not gonna happen with foam)

thanks alot for posting the pics man! um yea theyre foam, I'm thinking maybe a bit of the topsheet got pushed under the rest of the topsheet right at the edge, casuing a bump in the base? dunno, but skiiable right?

yeah man i had the same thing on my skis only bigger right under foot. didnt quite make it to the rail. but yeah take it to a shop and have them cut it out and patch it with a pice of base. they did mine in a retro black and purple

that happened to me.. but mine was because my edge hit somethign which dented the edge inwards which put pressure on the base which made a bubble upwards... idk if its the same with yours but if it is.. then theres not much they can do.. unless u replace a section of the edge and a bunch of stuff.. not worth it at allll!!! ive been skiing on mine for liek 4 months and its finee!

dont do ittt!! youll regret it

its still skiable, not that bad of a bump so why spend the money, and why waste your time, and the piece they replace it with will fall out i guarentee, it happened to me and now i just have a chunk misssing without even an edge. its just a burly choppy section now
