noo.. broke my skis

Tonight after skiing I noticed one edge on my concepts is cracked. Right in the middle, all the way through. Its pushed in a little and the base is bulged out a tiny bit at the spot. No Idea how or when it happened. They seem to be holding together alright now but looks like I'm definitely getting new skis now. Its last years ski so no warranty left. Doesn't really change my opinon on the skis at all. I'll probably get troublemakers next in fact.

ive broken every pair of skis ive owned (4) and this is my second year skiing....i had the same thing happen to my concepts, it happend from a switch 270 to caught front edge and it just cracked in half boubled up real nicely and now they are my rail skis

i did that to my scratches awhile ago

i've had the worst luck with skiis this year, 5 broken skiis this year, more skiis than i've broken every other year put together, i think

You guys can't be very good skiers. I've been skiing since I was 3 so I've been rippin' hills for nearly 17 years now. I've owned 5 pairs of skis in that time, 3 pairs in the last 2 years. I've never broken a pair and I ski harder than most of you ever will, been in my national downhill squad and skied freestyle since you were in nappies. Do you actually try to break your skis or something?

i hate to be a jerk, but how does tim know that he skis harder than everyone else... until youve seen everyone ski you cant really say that. and to respond to 'do you guys try to break your skis?' no i dotn and i dotn think anybody actaully tries. i landed in a ditch doing jumps in the backcountry, and snapped them. it was the first ski i broke.

Did I say that I skied harder than everyone else?? No, No I did not, go back and read it. I said I ski harder than most of you little punks, and that is more than likely true, seeing as I'm older, more experienced and been skiing for longer, don't worry son, you'll go through puberty one day too.

wow, I just noticed they are starting to delam too. At the tip where the base and edge start and the steel tip protector ends. This I believe is a weakness of the ski design, I noticed that this could happen the day I got em. After about 120 ski days over almost two seasons I think my concepts are about done, now I can have some rail skis

 
tim they just dont know how to ski they havent had as much experience (especially the racing) and probably all are poor skiers, outside of the park.

Get over it! Who cares. I wouldn't mind breaking my skis so i could get a warrenty for the next season. Just makes sense.

 
i've broken one pair of skis in my life, and i've been skiing since age 3 1/2, so those of you who have, try treating them right. I've had more coreshots and messed up edges than you have had erections, but i've still only broken one pair of skis. If you treat them right, and ski WELL, your skis won't break for no reason

Nice to make such a judgement when we have never had the pleasure of meeting. The truth is anything will break if you abuse it, unfortunately most skis are not up to the abuse that most of us put into them for any extended amount of use.

dudes just a quick question... if i see a hairline crack through one my edges, is that anything to worry about? i mean its where i jib so they are already flat completely, but i just notcied there is a crack....

you can't touch me, nobody has that right.
