Non rockered 181ish all mountain ski

So currently I have 176 dumonts and 179 obsetheds. I ski whistler mainly and was looking for a ski to be a bit more versatile than my 176 dumonts but I still want something that is easy to throw around but has good edge grip and is on the stiffer side. It needs to be able to handle a couple of inches of fresh also.

I was thinking maybe a kung fujas or a blend or pipe cleaner.

sounds like you need some chronics or blends. prophet 100 would be sick if you don't need a park ski... look into volkl brigdes too.

the kung fujas are sick man, next year's have rocker though so grab some 08/09's. they are suck a fun versatile ski, medium flex and 95 waist

If you can get your hands on a pair of scott P4's, buy em, the 181 is an excellent allrounder that throws down in the park, it floats through pow, it bashes crud and it carves up groomers quite nicely, it has a buttery tail and stiffer tip so its very stable, further it has double sidecut, early tip and tail to stay afloat in powder and therefore it also skis like a short ski on groomers + its reinforced with titanium wich makes it very durable, it has woodcore for a nice pop and thats about it...

Get this ski, it'll blow your mind !

You have 179 obsetheds and you are looking for a versatile ski that can handle some fresh? uhhhh. You have what seems to be just fine choices already, a park ski and a killer all mtn/pow/big mtn ski. The dumont I believe is on the stiffer side for park skis. Why would you really need a more versatile park ski when you have the obsethed? Not quite understanding this one.

Sorry for double post......mean all mtn ski there. The obsethed is extremely versatile and can handle everything you just said you wanted, so I don't know why you are basically throwing away your obsethed when it's in its element. Are you saying that you can't rip groomers, fresh, etc with your obsetheds? The rocker on the obsethed is small, so it's not like it really effects that much for you. Just what do you weight if you can't rip on those obsetheds?

I would say 4frnt MSP, these skis are stiff hold a great edge, can handle pow. I run them on everything from park to trees and they charge hard. The only problem I have had is the top sheet chips but really who the fuck cares. Hope this helps

he already has an obsethed. if he is going to be buying a ski he should get a super fat ski like a hellbent, ep pro or ski in same category.
