Non-freeskier in parks

Every day I go skiing, I see them: they go in the snowpark, go in front of you and cut you when you are going to hit a feature, hit the rail's jump on the side and fuck them up. I hate these people. First they have no respect for us (freeskiers) and dont understand that the jumps are not to hit them on the side but to hit them and than hit a rail or throw tricks in the airs... It pisses me so off when i'm going to try a new trick on a rail and someone just cut me and hit the side of the jump... I also hate when they stop on the landings and than you miss your trick and crash because you didnt want to hit them...

What do you think?

blah blah blah blah. this subject has been discused many times before. park pass' eliminate this problem so if you have a problem then ask your mountain if they could use them next season or something

The problem is that many small stations in Quebec just don't give a fuck about their parks because most of the park skiers in Quebec just go at some big station like Tremblant or Avila.

That said, I truly hate those gapers for the reasons you said, even if sometimes they give me a good laugh!

I hate people like you that scream at the little 8 year olds that do cut you off and jump off to the side. Get over it.

you know all that bullshit we put up with with those joeys is worth it for this sole reason...

the last shot in the petrodayctal blood teaser

im with him. theyll catch on someday. if not who cares theyre havin fun. Its not that hard to wait one more sec to hit a jib.

If you just ask them to move they usually do, most little kids won't respond to MOVE THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY FAGGOT. As for getting cut off, its gunna happen deal with it

At winter park we have "dark territory" which consists of the two largest tables and a bunch of rails. To ski in dark territory, you have to buy a $20 pass which is good for the whole season. It is awesome when you get in there, no one is ever in there except those that really want to be in there. it sucks if you are only coming there for a day, but it's cool otherwise.

The words I used were maybe too strong. I don't scream at gapers but sometimes it's just too hard to ignore them. That said, it's sure they're having fun and I don't blame them for that.

ever tell some kids and there parents to not stand somewhere or do something in the park an have there parents get mad at u, its the best when ur arguin tellin them there douche bags then a whole bunch of park crew roll up and start tellin those parents there fuckin retarded

i hate this so much, they fuck up the jumps onto rails. i actually got yelled at by a ski instructor while i was hiking rails because i was "Blocking the jumps" (i was in no way in front of the rails only in front of the fucking retards who launch of the side)

i dont mind them as much as i mind disrespectful snowboarders....

if there in your way just dont stop

your not gonna get in trouble just dont take there bullshit

I also hate those fuckers that ski the park like its a normal run. The park is for hitting the features what the fuck don't these people understand!

i hate the kids who wear all the good gear but can only do like spread eagles and attempt rails. I saw this guy (no joke) who was wearin those oakley yellow pants, he looked like tanner with all the oakley gear, super nice skis, and im telling u guys, all he could do was a frikin Spread eagle and a straight air. i was pretty mad and jealous

The people who air off the sides of jumps and turn down the landings and cut you off are having just as much fun if not more than you are. They are simply doing it differently. Let them.

yea, yea, theyll catch on someday. or maybe, theyll catch a fat edge in their head when they're gaping in a blind spot that only advanced riders should only be on.

I really get ticked off when gapers or just cruisers go through the park, or just the more advanced shit, partially because it is just annoying and it sometimes disrupts a run, but more importantly, it just isn't safe. If they want to learn to ride park, they should stick to features that pertain to their ability, and they can work up when they are ready for it. I hate the excuse that "everybody starts somewhere," because usually that is coming out of somebody who is hitting like a 40ft jump and they can barely turn on their skis or they can hardly stand on their board.

If somebody doesn't have the desire to ski park, and they just carve down the landings and the like, then why be in there? It just puts people at more risk (and risk is accepted to a degree, but neglegence such as that doesn't have to be tolerated).

At most parks, there are signs defining the purposes and essentially the park rules. If somebody cannot abide by that shit, than they have no fucking business being in there.

For the guy who said they should stay in areas that pertain to their skill level, not all places have seperate parks...

Anyways, before you try to stab the little shits with your poles, try to think back to when that was you airing off the sides of the jumps. We all came up through that, gotta learn somehow!

thats true, not all places dont. then again, im mostly speaking for the places i ride, which do have multiple levels.

and usually the best way to resolve anything is to just politely let somebody know whats up. some of them have a dick attitude and get super defensive, but usually a few kind words fixes things.

my moutain was dumb enough to put their park under the main fucking quad and make it the largest and longest run.

I know you can say that ''everybody starts somewhere''... but when i first started to try boxes, i was not wearing 300$ oakleys, bonefirer pants , armada skis and i was not showing off ... i was in a little red suit and i started on the BEGINNER snow park, where it is apropriate to start and not to disturb the people who are doing the jumps and rails... i also hate when people think their super duper cool and they think they have so much style and everything, and they come to the box and do a 50/50 or dont even hit a box and go down the hill like if they were professionals... off course style is one thing but you have to learn skiing before thinking of your style.

Since when does what clothes you wear dictate whether you can be good or not? You can't tell someone they can't go buy those clothes because there not good enough

shut the hell up, theyre having fun so why hate? if youre not comfortable enough to hit features with people skiing around you then get better, dont bitch online.

i can see where this guy is coming from. it gets kinda bad in my park too. sometimes we get just random people ski down the park and cut people off. they don't hit anything and don't even have a remotely freeski ski. that gets to me sometimes. but if you see those little kids cutting off people and acting like idiots. how about stopping them next time you see them do it and explain to them that they are acting stupid and dangerous

man, this is getting a work out today!->

Dude ppl arent comftorable hitting shit when ppl are standing around cuase ITS NOT SAFE. What a fucking ignorant comment to make. How can skiing even be fun if people are constantly getting hurt? I shouldnt have to adjust my ability to hit a feature so that somone standing on the landing doesnt get hit. Most the time the person hitting the setup ends up bailing out so that they dont hit the other person. And how the hell are you supposed to get better if somones in your way all the time? You should never hit something if your uncomftorable about it. And i dont know about you, but im uncomftorable with anyone being in my direct line when im hitting something.

yeah like this is my first year riding park but ive been skiing since i was 7 and am a good skier, but ill still work my way up in our smaller park and not go over big jumps and know im gonna crash and just sit on the landing..and i was at the point once when i was the kid going over the side of jumps haha

To all the people saying "you have to start somewhere", I bet you've never had a concussion from hitting a kid, who he and his friends where hiking part of the landing to a 40 foot cheese wedge in a jump line, only so they could diagnoally ride down it to hit a "natuaral manula pad" with a fuckin log that was pulled out of the bush put on top of it.
