Rough day for sox fans the Red Sox traded Nomar as part of a 4 team deal in which they got Doug Meitkewich and Orlando Caberea, Nomar went to the Cubs

I'm kind of an Expos fan. But I actually don't like baseball, I find it boring to watch on TV, but it's cool to actually go see them, I went about 4 times. But with Cabrera gone, we're as good as gone (we have been for a few years...) and we suck major ass this year...

actually we kind of did trade away Mr. Boston everyone was ragging on him and now that's he;s gone evryone is like wow he's gone, this would've been a lot better if the red sox got good players out of the deal, but I just can;t get excited abouu Caberea and Meintkwich who combined have 9 home runs

yeah i think the red sox's offense is pretty good, they did hit two homeruns against santana. but they opted to go for defense by aquiring two gold glove winners. that was there decision, can't do anything about it

I just didn't think there was a need for mientkiewvich I mean McCarty is great defensivley, and then you have Millar and Ortiz at first it's just jam logged at first, but there's nothing we can do, we should;ve found away to get Clemente out of the deal

i see what you mean, there are a lot of first base men. but i do believe that Mientkiewicz is better then them because he has a .966 feilding % and a career batting average of .275 (which takes care of the lack of offense a little.) Yeah, but it an executive decision so what can you do.

btw, sorry about the hostility but i am a hardcore twins fan and mientkiewicz was my boy

yea well, millar wont be playing first base for awhile, and he sux at it anyway. we can put millar in the outfield, have ortiz dh, and have doug m. play first. dave mcCarty can contnue coming in at the end. Hopefully cabrera can pick up his offense a little at fenway park. he is playing for a playoff contender now so maybe he will be happy to play every day.

Whoever was saying the RedSox offense needs work before is an idiot....the Redsox offense is dirty. It seems like every player they have is batting above .300. This is coming from a Yankees fan too....your offense is fine. Its better than fine. I think getting more defense will help the Sox out in the long run.
