Has anyone ever taken a NOLS course? I went on a month long nols course the summer after 8th grade in wyoming, and I'm thinking of going on a semester long course next summer. has anyone ever taken a semester course?

Ive had 3 friends who've taken semester courses, all three through wyoming and such, and they said the length of it was great, they wouldn't have gone for any less time.

Im planning on taking a NOLS sememster course next summer, Im headed to New Zeland. Im so stoked. My friends say it was one of the best educational experiences they've had.

a friend of mine use to be an guide for nols...the alasken mountaneering course.

All in all, I'd say the branches that nols has are pretty neat. I've never done one. I think they try to come off as they are the best. Maybe it's just a good marketing technique.

I think you can get leadership experience with stuff and not have to travel and pay thousands of dollars for. Believe it or not, its a non-profit organization!

But anyways, sick experience if you're willing, or your parents are willing to spend the cash money.
