yeah i've been nolling for years. i suck at rails but have been able to nollie lipslide for 2 seasons. i just dig nollies though.

in short: poping off your nose

some history: the term "ollie" originates form skatebaording, atcually named after some dude. on a skateboard to jump and bring the board up with you you have to push down on the tail with your back foot then slide your front foot up the grip tape. if you move your stance forward and push down on the nose with the front foot then slide your back foot up across the grip tape this is a nollie as in nose ollie.

now just picture it on skis

i find it super hard to control the tips of my skis when I try them..probably explains why i suck at buttering too..

nollie lipslide is easier and more fun.

one time i got recked cuz i was attempting nollie on in 3 inches of freshies and the jibs were not raked and my tips went under and i looked like the noob that i am.

lol, allow me to make myself clear:

interesting. I have never tried doing one or thought about doing one. I'll have to give this a go. Probably look real stupid but sounds like a blast.

i have also seen many many nollies and butters done wrong, which sometimes clouds definitions, and sometimes hinders talking about them as one specific trick.
what i mean is it's hard to talk about with other people without seeing them do one, so you know what they're talking about. I am pretty intrigued to see footage/try switch ollie/nollie. and overall seems to be a good direction for skiing. first part was just my feeling thus far.

lol i cant even understand that claim...maybe it was that dick in your mouth or something, i dunno haha

I watched and realized how right i was. the nollies were not the trick it was just something they did into a trick.

is nollie frontflip a real trick? i want to see this pretty bad if it is. i cant picture it. WHO HAS A VIDEO????

Well now you are faced with two options:

1) you just didn't pay attention and notice his nollie switch up on the box, or his nollie 2 out of the box, or his nollie off the rail.

2) you're just a stubborn idiot that cannot admit he was wrong.

ps nollie in IS a trick, if you spin 2 onto a rail, its something you do into a trick...but its still a trick no?...if you go switch into a rail, its something you do into a trick, but its still a trick....

dissagreed, brady is amazing but i think him and hath did dope ones at the same time... and people definitely did them before our day

Hornbeck's got the meanest, cleanest nollies for sure, and Brady defintaley has some insane and creative nollie variations....

but i hate to say it, we're on skis, you can't actually "nollie," snowboarders can't actually nollie either, neither of us can move our feet to the front of our boards and execute true "nollies" , whatever everyone's doin tho, it's cool as shit
