i used the searchbar, so no flamming!!

okay, just a few days ago, i learned nosepresses and tailpresses on boxes. it only took me about the whole season to master them. now here is my question ..... is it easier to nosepress/tailpress on boxes with longer skis. i ride 145, and 158 (im 5 feet tall). with a longer ski, and more nose and tail, is it easier to do presses....

anyone help me out with this..?

Yeeah I am the same exact size and I can tail press with any skis. Im also pretty posotive shorter skis are easier. And right now tail presses are my favorite rail trick along with twosevs on.

Hell yeah best tricks ever!!! I can almost completely sit down on my tail presses. I am sooo stoked! and s_k_i_e_r I just barely turned 14.

Not really answering your question, but Nosepresses are way easier then tailpresses

thats crazy i feel the exact opposite, tail presses came completely natural for me. I can make it seem like I am sitting on a chair tail pressing and nose pressing I can only get somewhat of a press.

nose/tail pressing is funnn. haha its not really that hard to learn eather. you just gotta trust that your skis will hold you and your face wont meet the box. but i found it easier and more steeeezier haha with my big skis.

meh, personal preference i guess. i can not stand people that ski without poles personally. i think it looks absolutely retarded. but that is just my personal preference.

well then your entitled to it but its the future, mayyybe haha, and its really fun. Also why nott??? and the like nonpolist.

nose presses are a lot easier for me, you get to spot the rail at all times. i hate the feeling of leaning back on tail presses, i feel like im just gonna kick off it

exactly what this guy said except more like switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up switch up

Hmm I'll give it a try. I guess long skis are harder to do, coz u have to press harder. But with short skis u can have to less contact with the grind/box. So I say u just need a medium ski haha
