There is not going to be much snow in Whistler and other of ther West Coast ares because of El neono(spelling sucks). It says that it is going to be below the average of snow.

yeah, it means warmer, but also more precip. So the higher elevations are gonna get totalled raped by snow, where as the lower elevations (snoqualmie, woohoo) will get shit. and by shit i mean rain...and by rain i mean shit

who gives a shit. stop tryin to figure out the weather. its powers are only exceeded my it's mystery. just ski the snow you get, theres not a damn thing you can do about it

yeah, my thoughts on that is that its political, all about the KYOTO and crap! The gov. I think is trying to make it look like global warming so the KYOTO has to be signed... so all I got to say is that its gonna snow lots, farmers almanac or no almanac.

Besides, the snow season works in 5 year cycles, and for the west coast, were starting a new cycle or the middle of one. But according to that its time for another good year. or so i'm hoping!

I don't know...i read some environment canada statistics on precipitation during el nino years, and it varies a lot. Some years there was 50% less percipitation, and othere years there was 15% more then average. So who knows. I just hope fernie sticks around -5 and dumps a shitload...but that's just hopin..
