No Stickies?

Sort of a bizarre, random thought, but it's kind of nice to not see any stickied threads in SG. I feel like over the last year or so there's been so many of them, and frankly a bunch that were just pure advertising in a sense, that the forum just seemed kinda cluttered. Somehow it feels more democratic in terms of what threads are at the top.

Yeah well there will be ups and downs with that. Sure its more democratic, but the purpose of stickies is to convey certain messages in places so people will see them.

Sometimes those messages are advertising yes.

I agree though, I think we found the upper limit to the amount of stickies we should have up at any one time. We'll work to lower that amount this winter.

That's all fair, and I know stickies are relevant, helpful and all, and imagine that they'll be back, but I just happened to notice and it took me by surprise. I am however cool with the idea that the upper limit has been reached, and I agree haha.
