No son, skiers can't do that

why do you older guys who think you are all good at skiing decide to laugh at younger kids in the park when they are trying to grind a rail? just wondering because that happened to me at sierra at tahoe

'GRAFFITI IS AN ART, AND IF ART IS A CRIME, HOW COME PICASSO NEVER DONE TIME'

Cavemen did it, so did Romans and Egyptians. The Incas did

it, so did Greeks and Native Americans. There was graffiti on the

New York subway a year after it was built. There`s graffiti on the

moon. If graffiti is vandalism, and vandalism is graffiti, then man

has left his mark with garbage at the farthest reaches of the

universe.

i have a nice laugh when i see someone (young or older) try to hit a rail and fall pathetically. not because i'm being cocky or an asshole, but because i was in the same place about a year ago and i remember what it was like.

and also, on topic...

i love showing up tourists who don't know what they're doing. some of them try to hit the biggest jump in the whole park their first/second time on skis. they might end up clearing to the landing but hitting it straight legged. it's funny to watch. then they're all cocky and celebrate with their friends and i or another twin-tipper come behind them and if nothing else just throw a super smooth grab. mute's seem to be the ones that get 'em around here. they see the crossed up skis and are in awe. it's rather amusing.

another1260poser, I know what you mean but it's with boxes here. You can just point the ones out who have never boardslid a box before because right when they jump onto the box their skis are wicked close and they're leaning faaar back. Them eating shit is awsome and it is also just as great to see people trying new stuff.

just ski. and why does everyone laugh at girl skiers? i was waiting for a rail at schweitzer and these kids were like 'omg that girl has twin tips. that's kinda weird.' i was like fuck you 4 year old bitch ass mother fuckin snowboarders! no i didn't but i mean how stupid. and one time like a few years back i was attempting a rail and i almost cleaned it but i fell on the landing and these 2 snowboarders going on the bunny hill laughed at me. what the hell!

triple it triple it trip-le-it 1! brrrrrrr cha cha cha cha cha cha cha

ba-dum-ching!

yeah, for some reason people enjoy laughing at other people's falls when they themselves can do nothing close to as difficult. there's always the little kids or older people that you hear cackling in the distance (usually from the lift) when someone falls on a rail or a jump.

on a separate note...i got laughed at today by 2 older guys (mid 40's maybe) when i hit a decent sized table switch. the lift is right next to the jump and as soon as i carved around to go switch, i could hear them start laughing. when i landed i stopped and they were saying something about how stupid it looked for someone to go backwards. amazing.

then you should have hicked back up and slapped the dad with your ski

'kevin whyed nils pull you out?' 'Cuz i was touchin bitches.' 'No seriously why did he put scott in for you.' 'Scott doesn't touch bitches.'

i would have been like 'shut the fuck up! you know NOTHIN!' people like that annoy me...even thou i board, but i know what you guys are all saying

dont piss me off; im running out out places to put the bodies

yea..there are plenty of older guys that know nothing but ive talked to a lot that are pretty cool. i had a guy spot a jump for me the other day cuz there were like 50 little kids that kept goin over and eatin shit. He went to the landing and flagged me for when i could go, i was pretty surprised.

i hate when little snowboarders laugh at other people, we at my mountain call them lexus kick-outs, were there parents role in and kick em out for the day

Wow, we are all so amazing here, enlightening people like this. I agree with mommy.

Girls don't like sensitive guys. Since I don't treat women like objects, I have to treat objects like women.

that reminds me of yesterday night. this guy who looked like he came strait outta the 80's was wearing everything neon and oak a frame sunglasses was riding the lift in front of me yelling down to the park sayin shit like YEAH DUDE back scratcher. HELICOPTER MAN, IRON CROSS DUDE. every time a little kid went off one of the small jumps. it amazed me how pumped this guy was that these little kids were gettin a foot of air. then come kid pulled a nice 3 off one of the big jumps and i think he had a heart attack. weird situation fer shure

today i was in the park and i saw this guy, probably 40 years old with 204 cm neon skis. i saw him going up to a table and i was like oh man this is gonna be great. he threw a perfect 3 but one of his skis flew off in midair, and he still landed it. it was sweet

All I heard growing up was

'Don't ski off cliffs' 'Don't build 'illegal' jumps' 'Don't do that crazy shit'

...and they meant it. Threatening banning, etc. Things are WAY better now - even if some people are still in the 'skiers only do this' mindset.
