no skiing until january!

i just found out i have mono today. that means that i cant ski for 3 months!!!!! i cant do anything. they arent even goign to let me just ski on crusiers. i guess your splein is really sensitive and if you crash it can explode and you pretty much just die....during this time i am already planning on mastering the art of masturbation, but i was thinking that i should get into photography to. my dad has a pretty descent camera. its kinda old but its still pretty nice. does anyone have any tips for getting started?

Photography and masturbation - at the same time - earned Robert Mapelthorpe wuite some acclaim. I have not tried, however. Get yourself a light meter. Get some slide film - Fuji or Kodak. Get a loupe - a little doo-dad that lets you look closely to see if the slide is sharp or out-of-focus. Learn to focus, I throw away so many pictures 'cause they are not sharp, and they will never be published. Shoot as much film as you can. Experimenting is excellent. If you want to shoot action - sking etc. - shoot at at least 1/500th of a second. I usually start at a 1000th. Good luck with the afliction and the photography.
