NO School for me today.

we had flash floods last night and a lot of flooding. they closed our school cause the roads are really bad.. so im pretty pumped today
 
same no school here either. lotsa debris all over the roads, and the bridge connectng the town next to me wiped out, so theyre not sure what to do with the bus routes and such the detour around is 45 mins just to get to school for some people.
 
We were in a state of emergency yesterday and some schools around me have delays or closures, but I have seen nothing about my school.
 
I hate my school, they wouldn't close if the world was ending. 2 schools on either side of my school are closed today. but my school has to be the different one and open today.
 
yeah same here... roads have so much shit on them and we were in a state of emergency till this morning... pretty bad stuff but i wish it was snow
 
we dont have school today,because the teachers needed a day off because they worked extra hours because of parent-teacher confrences. The school chose today because opening deer hunting season starts tomorrow morning at daybreak, and tons of kids leave the day before to get to where they hunt a day before. Shits crazy
 
u guys wont believe this but my school has a 4-day week. I have every Friday off. The catch is 8 to 4 school day and a tougher grading scale. e.g. 93-100=A Its worth sleeping in every friday morning.
 
umm well if thats a tougher grading scale then mines even tougher. 94+ is an A. and our teachers are gay so they dont round up. my friend got a 93.7 in trig and the teacher wont round it up so he can kiss his 4.0 down the drain. i really wish mine had a longer day like yours and friday off though. mines from 700-230 so its only half an hour difference and you guys can sleep in longer. lucky.
 
haha and thats so true becasue i live in alaska and there hasn't been a snow day here ever. we only had 1 day that it rained in febuary and every single car went into the ditch and then 1 day off where the ice fog was so bad you couldn't see a cars length in front of you. but we havn't had a snow day since the 70's or something crazy like that. oh and once it gets to -40 school is optional but not canceled.
 
umm a pennsylvania-quite retarded-public school. dumbest school ever. the only thing we have going for us is the field hockey program. guess what they lost 2 weeks ago go us!
 
not true, in 5th grade it snowed 3 feet and we got 2, thats right 2 count them 1 2 snow days in a row..and it snowed on sunday, like the day
 
lamo i dont understand the point of suspensions. "you were a bad boy, youre not allowed to come to school for 2 weeks!"
