i totally agree. they have no creativity either. they have this one video where they stop the song to have people talk about suicide cuz they are too stupid to write a song with a message. they don't know how to be creative, and subtil, so they force it down your throat by stoping the video and putting that bullshit in. like who does that? you are a band... use your music to put a message across... isn't that like the main function of music? they are trying to be all political and have a message, but they don't have the slightest idea how to do i. morons.

before i defend blink, let me just say that im a pretty big punk fan and like alot of real punk (nofx, afi, pennywise, antiflag, etc) and just think that blink is good. blinks music DEF changed from chesire cat to blink 182 (new cd) but it didnt neccessarily get worse. take off your pants and enema were mad good cds, and the new one has some good stuff. by the way, good charlotte blows my ass hard. they sold out like no other. and unfortunatly, the ataris are starting to follow suit.

I dont care what anyone says.. Simple Plan IS gay!! Watch their DVD (even just 10 minutes of it) and you'll see.. I'm sure at least one of those guys are gay!

And i dont actually mind Good Charlotte either, it's not a band thats gonna last forever like Nirvana but they still dont fall into the same catagory as Simple Plan...

 
Avoid it. Don't watch T.V. (so not punk), def. don't listen to the radio (absolutley not punk), and if you hang around with boys and girls who listen to that barf then you're hanging out with dildos, so check yourself. Occasionally I'll hear that shit, maybe flicking through channels, etc... But I block it out, or stop for a second to acknowledge how lucky I really am to have some taste....

simply put... good charlotte isnt punk (just wannabe's) and u cant say that they're at all original cuz u know who sounds exactly like them... new found glory and tons of other bands. but hey if u like them then u only listen to the radio cuz there is so much good music out there that most people have never even heard of. thats the good stuff.

bla bla bla. good music and bad music. thats the kinds of music there is. everyone has an image that they try to sell, i see that band as a marketing scheme not sound machine. good for them, doing something different than everyone else that makes money in the music business. it may be trite and meaningless and 'not punk' but who looks at the whole whats punk and not idea and says anti-flag is good? again, a marketing scheme.
