No Rail Jam in VT Open

If you go to stratton.com then to the register it says that there is only Slopestyle, Superpipe, and Quarterpipe. Whats up with the Rail Jam?
 
Agreed, thats perfect for the guys who go huge in the pipe, but have a hard time linking tricks wall to wall.
 
i'm so dissappointed. Rails are my forte. like, i go just for the rail jam, and enter slopestyle because its fun and only 50$ more. I wish they had a railjam, that wasn't on the staircase (if thats the problem).
 
the vt open has been going on for what, 3 years total now? The QP jam used to be in the US Snowboard Open... they dont change anything for the skiers
 
except for the fact that they added the rail jam to the comp last year and switched to a qp jam this year?
 
that sucks, i guess andrew russel would have been screwed if he went to the open this year instead of last...
 
yeah its kinda lame but its the US snowboarding opens fault they decided to rock quartepipe like back in the day.

there will prolly be a gay big air thing too
 
they have had a railjam at the snowboarding open for the past 2 or 3 years... what Im saying is, what they have for the US Open snowboard stays for the vt open skiing, they dont say "hey lets build a 30 foot qp for the boarders then tear it down and set up a HUGE railjam setup

and to the person who posted above who was wondering if the stairs were the problem... no they werent the problem and btw, why would you want it different, the setup was ILL last year, you fall on those stairs, they aren't cheese grater but your gonna be hurting
