.:No Poles:.

I like that people are calling people gay because they choose not to ski around holding a shaft in each hand.

People saying they have a hard time skiing without them should go learn how to ski. People saying that it feels too wierd probably just haven't done it for more than about 1 run. I learned switch cork 9 without poles. I accidently grabed on a switch rodeo 5 when I didn't even mean to that's how easy it is to grab without poles.

It's not like I never ski with poles, I normally do but sometimes I just feel like going without them. It's great

HA!, that kid didn't start SHIT! nopoles has been in WA for the last 5 years. fuck all you kids jumping in the bandwagon. omg! andy and pep are going no poles maybe i will too!!

would you like a cookie for living in WA? not every kid who rides without poles started because of andy and pep

I'm not going to lie, one of the main reasons I use poles is so that I can lean on them in lift lines. Its not like I dont know how to use them, I did race for many years, but if you can balance and ski properly without them, then you should experiment with it, it wont do anything but make you a better skier, just dont fall into any bad habits.

I'm glad that Andy and Pep are doing it, cause now the bitches who were talking shit on it are like "oh, well I guess since they are doing it, its cool" which is kinda lame, but its an industry of followers, and the industry is based on thousands of little kids following what these people say is cool.

skiing without poles is ALSO fun (aside from the reasons in my previous post) is cause when I started skiing, when I was like 2-4, I didnt use poles, of course I dont really remember a whole lot, but it is just cool reminising those old days. It will also teach you some other basics that you might have forgotten, and allow for you to be creative with new ways to ski, lean, and spin.

Its all skiing (unless you are over 5'5 and your skis are under 175, then its snowlerblading)

i had a run in with this situation. was skiing bird, then decided to hit the park. since my rotations are so slow, i stuck my poles into the snow and practiced spins without em.

for park skiing, i think that if you can do something with your poles it looks cooler than without, but i think i will stick to no poles for practice only
