No Poles

Pep, Andy, Eric. Do you think these guys can cut through the hatin' and progress skiing in another direction, riding with big fuckin' skis and no poles most of the time. I always hated no poles, but these guys in my mind could legitimize it, or at least make it not generally frowned upon. I even LIKE them riding with no poles, it fits their style. They are just so damn good the poles dont bother me. FILM THE IDEA.

ive never quite understood why everyone hated on skiing without poles but in my opinion it would be equally senseless if everyone now said theyd actually like no poles because of them

no poles is gay but they can pull it off cus they are the shit but its all the kids now adays that try to copy them and they piss me the fuck off

i just dont like it cos it feels wrong ... its wrong i tell ye ....its like sex without the pussy, toast without butter, a computer without the monitor a car without its engine or a bum without his box.

yea i cant ski with poles for a week or so cuase i fucked up my arm and it feels weird. but everything those guys do is cool theres just somthing about them

the skiers that i've seen usually look sorta sketchy , i think poles make it look cleaner . both in and out of park .

every once and a while i go no poles, just kuz it realy helps my balance, but i really hate the style

Yeah, i just dropped mine and decided i'm done with them for a while. learn something new. i like it a lot. do what ever you want, its more fun that way.

its for sure better for grabs but i feel uncomfortable hittin stuff without mine because im used to givin alittle push if i need alittle more speed and i hate skatin in to a feature

HAHAHAHA so true

i think no poles looks weird and feels kinda weird i also hate the flaily style, but last time i left my poles was like 2 years ago, i might try no poles again.

and how much easier is it to grab with no poles???

steve stepp and tom wallich dont use poles. they make it look good. heres a edit w/ tom and a pic of steve

well most people don't like no poles because other people convince them about htat...and that most people have poles so it feels and looks different..also, who gives a shit what you look like if ur having fun

If they don't want to use fucking poles then they wont use fucking poles whos gives a flying fuck. Seriously this shit is turning into a mad drama fuck fest, shit! just stop fucking acting like they are "gay" or whatever, if they want to do it, let them jesus.

some people do look gay, but it takes practice before it can look good.

i dont ski without poles, im trying to work my way off of them cause if you think about it, poles are really gay, what other extreme sport uses long sticks that dont do anything? they just dont serve a purpose other than to balance, but using a stick to balance in any sport is possible, it just makes it more gay, its kinda cheating.

and who gives a shit if its part of skiing, skiing is gay, people think of skiing as gapers doing groomers, and that is very gay, so if poles are part that then ill be glad to not use them. freestyle park and bc stuff is a totally different sport than just normal skiing.

ive seen alot of people in colorado using no poles lately, at keystone last week almost half the people in the park didnt have poles and most of them looked really good.

but sliding rails progressed skateboarding, poles dont have anything to do with progression at all, no poles is progression if anything.

if poles go outta style im gonna be sooooooooo pissed

i mean come on you all look like a bunch of fucking rollerbladders on snow without them

and just cus a pro does it doesnt mean everyone has to

same with growing a beard seriously......

yall just a bunch of posers

i think no poles is dope. then I saw kye peterson using no poles in the SHow and Prove teaser, he makes it look terrible. other than that its sick though

I"ve never really tried no poles so I can't acctualyl have much of an opinion on it. I may just try it out sometime. I don't think it's really for me but if they wanna do it then so be it

alot of the little kids have no poles when there learning how to ski thats what ruins it for me because it reminds me of a noob even if the person has no poles even if there a pro.

same for me. Way more interesting, its like starting all over again. Plus, grabs are the shiattttttt

you need poles, if either one of those skiers did the same tricks first time with poles second time without pole. The trick with the poles will definatley look better. and plus poles help you get around.
