No poles...

Using no poles makes skiing so much more fun.But when I do it in the park and stop to hit a rail I feel like a retard when I have to skate and not be able to push with poles.
 
Sometimes I ski with poles, other times I don't ski with poles. Skiing without poles can be really fun, that's why I do it.

as for poles, it actually takes more control too have style without them, and Republican_douchebag, you're just wrong, you obviously can't keep your arms undr control when skiing without poles, so lay off it, if you seen someone who actually is stylie without poles, then you would respect it. it's not the future just a thing of personal preference. and when you're skiing swith, poles ARE unnecessary, think about it. as KZA said, it's not for everyone.

andy stopped doing that, the only reason he did that so he could get reconized more i think... then everyone started doing it...

and ive nvr seen steve without poles but tom yes i have..

tom used to rock poles, ive rode with him a few times and i say i liked his style better with poles than without...

im pretty sure he still skis without poles part of the time. i'll ask him to post his opinion in here, he might have stopped, though with te 36inch poles he was using before, he might as well have been holding 40s.
