No poles or poles??

personally i dont like it poles help me keep my balance and make tricks look more steezy

Yesterday was the first day in my life that I skied with poles. At first I hated using them but by the end of the day, I didn't want to put them down. I skated a lot faster and I kept my balance better on the steepes.

either or.... I have a fractured thumb right now so I've been skiing without poles and after I got used to the "naked" feeling, it wasn't so bad. It's fun... but I don't think I would switch to completely no poles all the time.

I ski'd until this year without poles and don't find them much of a hinderance, make going around on flat ground and getting your speed up easy. As for tricks if it is steezy it will look good with or without poles imo...
