No pipe at blue?

hey wtf is going on at blue? i peep the webcam and see no pipe???? going up this weekend and i need to get the superpipe fix sorted.i also need to get my 3 year old in the park and no pipe?

for real? anyone wtf is going on?

 
they moved it to make more room in the park, they will be making a new one completely out of snow. Gonna be a little while before it is ready, I would assume.
 
I imagine you could just send them an email and have it sorted out a lot faster than ns could, or hell be old fashioned and make a phone call which is surprisingly faster than an email, but yeah being all snow this year I imagine it would take a while for them to get it going when they have more things to worry about than a full park set up, like opening the entire hill.
 
filling in the existing room for the pipe with snow for more features is BS. They had more then enough room for jibbers in the past.

to me this suggest they will not have a pipe this year. and if they do, it will be awful.

whats the point of emailing them or calling them when the decision to do this was already done.

this place is struggling. time to find a resort which caters to keeping a proper park alive.

 
You might be right. But, I also heard that Blue purchased a Global Pipe Cutter, which would indicate that they would like to keep this pipe going and make it really good. I am only hearing this through the rumor mill and have no inside source expect maybe the facebook page which is where I am pretty sure this was posted early season. Hope this is the case, I think half-pipe is a lot of fun.
 
Based on what I rode on Friday, getting rid of the pipe just allowed them to decrease the size of the park, and there is no more rails than in prior years. A lot of things about blue now just make it feel like more of a cash cow for intrawest than a ski hill
 
yeah the park was a lot smaller than last year, heres what it looked like on thursday (birds eye view). I'll apologize in advance for the shitty drawing and maybe naming some rails wrong xP)
