no one skis at my school

well I live in Van and its only 1.5 hours away from whistler and I only know 3 or 4 guys out 1500 in my school that like powder and park. Most ppl snowboard and I ski with them too. Just wait if it keeps developping we're gonna become cool again cuz right now most ppl still think of skiers as spandex wearers or ppl that might look like their own parents. Just wait

TBay actually has quite a few skier now for a city of 120 thou.

i live in australia, where the majority of the population don't even know what snow is (they especially don't realize that it's slippery to drive in, fucking idiot country). even the in ski team at my university (one of the biggest in the country) the skiers are outnumbered by people who've never been to the snow before, and only joined to go on pub crawls. it's so hard to find people into newschool shit down here, i've skied alone (except for my family) all my life.
