Yup its true... no one ever thought it would happen to Robot Food, they were legendary and pushed snowboard films to the next level, now the company that did the same and has been pushing and pushing even further is ending as well...
Sure its snowboarding, but incase you havnt heard (hopefully not a thread on this too busy to look it up) but after 20 years Mack Dawg is Done! :(

Link doesn't work?

But if that is true, damn...
although I suppose they went out at the top of their game.
And that would/will open up a lot of $ and opportunity in the snowboard movie world.

ahhh i do that sometimes sorry... this link will work...

But yes it will open a lot, it talks a little about that in the article...
and how cold its going to be on the west coast this weekend :) below freezing in tahoe...

Wow.

End of an era.

Major props to Mack Dawg to getting this all going. You guys will be missed. I was watching Peter Line and the boys shred before PBP had their shit rolling.

due to digital piracy.

so boarders who didnt want to pay $30 for a movie just lost one of the best movie companies.....like us losing poorboyz/level 1/ matchstick.

buy movies!! Support companies

skiing must not be big enough for there to be a lot of digital pirates. I will admit I have tried to find whole movies online but I still buy several movies each year.

that suckssssss.

the article mentioned that Kids Know may be making a comeback. If this is true Im even more stoked on that than mackdawg.

damn... kind of a bummer to hear. Mack Dawg is illin, props for all that they did, and hope only good things come out of this decision.

Here is the trailer for "Double Decade":

Yes! That would be so incredible!

Mack dawg is siicckk

Shakedown was the first snow video I ever saw. It was soo good.

Def. buying double decade now!

did anyone read the blog? it sounds like nothing is going to change. mike mcentire (mack dawg) hasn't really been involved anyways since brad kremer took over 4ish years ago. kremer and the people guys will make the same movies under a different name.

its pretty lame they cite digital piracy as a reason for closing. just like the music industry their behind the times. itunes isn't the biggest music seller in the country for no reason. multimedia content has moved to the internet. wake up or close shop. however, mike mcentire is legend. i hope everything works out for him. and three cheers for a kidsknow comeback.
