yes and no. they're reliable, but we had to take at least one source from this database of academic journals and shit... and an article from freeze isn't exactly on the same level as an academic journal from a library database.
 
um i like that skiing isnt mainstream. its ur fault for writing a paper about something noone else cares about. skiing is fun, casual, and personal and i would never expect those who dont do it to give a shit about 'the tension between skiers and snowboarders'.
 
i was at killington today and i was rocking around switch and i went by an old guy who was rocking around the hill with his feet glued together down at the bottom i stopped to fix my coat and he came up to me and sai "So thats why those skis have tips on the back, i was just cruising along and you zipped by me backwards, thanks great"

it struck me as funny that someone at a mtn with a big park skiing scene like killy would have people that didnt know about even twin tips, but its also cool that people are excited when they see it because they are just into skiing of any sort, and as long as theres something keeping kids skiing instead of snowboarding they are happy.
 
LSS trailer woould be good because it shows that park skirs dont bum out in the park, that they go up into the mts and build jumps, not to mention powder. But at the same time, you get the mouth-dropping with the urban rails and crazy stuff like that, which shows the Newschool movement.The song also shows how epic skiing is and makes kids hyped up. Tom Wallisch's superunknown vid is pretty much all park, and its not as like epic and stuff idk id choose LSS trailer over it.
 
i try not to affiliate myself with the outside world. i reccomend living in caves during the summer, and not venturing far out of the valley your ski hill is located in (unless of course it is to go to another valley full of skiers... even then, don't make eye contact along the way.
 
yeah tell me about. you have only been at umass one year vinny, ive been dealing wit this ignorance for 4 years and its amazes me how dumb a school can but with all the southern vermont resorts just around an hour away. well one person is gonna get an but they are a FUCKIN basterd because at one of my parties they stole my copy of War and Snow Gods. I was fuckin pissed, hopefully they at least watch the movies.
 
dude i can say we all get this all the time, since i sakteboard, everyone jst assumes i snowboard too.. soo its ALLWAYS u ski? o, race? NO! i do jumps n stuff... haha makes u feel like sucha gaper xplaining it to ppl liek that
 
I don't really care what non-skiers think about what skiing is or isn't. That doesn't affect how I ski, or how I see skiing.
 
I hate it so much. Everytime i tell someone i ski they're like eww, skiings so gay man i snowboard. And then if i ever see them snowboarding they can usually only barely 5050 a box. They've stereotyped skiers as people carving down a hill in jeans. And if you ever tell anyone like that about freeskiing, like rails and stuff they don't understand it and think you're crazy. And my dad flips whenever i detune my edges haha
