No New Notifications - Student Film about Facebook

This past semester for my advanced cinema production class at Ithaca College I had to write and direct a 5-15 minute short fiction film. I wanted to make it about something that my entire generation could relate to... so naturally its about two kids who make a bet to see who can go a week without facebook. I only trusted my friends and I with the acting since its our type of humor, so we might not be the best of actors, but everyone at the screening seemed to like it. Give it a look and let me know what you think, the film itself it only around 11 minutes long, the rest is credits and outtakes. If you like it, great, share it with friends so more people can see it. It was a small production team, so its not perfect, but we had a great time making it and we cant wait to get started on something else in the fall.

Damn that was really really good! I thought it was pretty funny and the cinematography was really good too!

I really enjoyed that. I laughed out loud a few times and I'm sitting on my couch alone which is saying a lot. Dope ass film fa sho

Well done. Enjoyed it all, got a few laughs, and really felt like you guys captured what it's like to be obsessed with facebook and the fears of not having one.

filming was really good and the lines were well done. safe to say a lot of people have had similar conversations with others.

the name doesn't ring a bell, but I might have seen him in passing in the park school. I have 2000 kids in my class alone, so its hard to know everyone haha

i enjoyed it, especially the end. the shot of the high/drunk guy puking made me feel like im gonna puke though
