coming from a yanks fan: no cause george steinbrenner said to himself. "well i have all this money so why the fuck don't i build a new one and tear down the old one" wen anybody asks he would say "cause i can" its a disgrace
 
i went to a game there this year, i wish i would have chipped some concrete off the wall as a souvenir

its a shame and it must be rough for you guys. lots of memories there. i can imagine what i would feel like if they canned fenway.

yea me too ive been to a ton of games there but it never crosed my mind to take some stuff to remember it by it will be missed however
 
its so stupid how all the big corporations are taking over all the stadiums, changing them, messing them around. i know all us toronto folk are with me when i say how gay it was that they changed the name of the iconic "skydome" to the rogers centre. i mean i know it doesnt really make that much of a difference in the end, but it still kinda sucks, like losing some part of your city, sucks super hard for you yankees fans
 
I am also a sox fan and I will admit it is somewhat sad, but hey New Yorkers dont get too blue, just think an estimated $550-850milion of YOUR tax dollars are going into building a new stadium and you will see a 0% return on that money, soo thats good right? suckerssss!
