TBC was irritating, not matter how unqiue it was.

unquie can still suck and be boring. The riding was great, the flow of the movie was irritating
 
its easy to make any movie flow when its all techno music... shits changes on 8 or 16 beats.. cut the song.. add a "one, two, one two three.. lets go" and there you have it.. flow.. and other companies already made movies with this style.. yet PBP and MSP outsell the rest everyyear.. and level 1 is definitely catchin up to them
 
i think what is meant is that, TBC is a 48 minute long movie, and yet is seems to last only half that, because each segment flows into the next so perfectly and the skiing is so top notch it is enjoyable all the way through. i watched yearbook the other day and i was bored out of my MIND after the n'th ski base jump shot...
 
dude.. are you serious??? all TBC has in it is the same 5kickers and everyone else hittin it.. and the music.. although some are good.. are all the same bpm...

next thing your gonna say is that you like how the rider segments were truncated, (wilson, sage, wilson)

and then your gonna say that the dubbed tanner interview was progressive or "epic"

there are plenty of nobody's that get hurt everyyear dropping huge cliffs, gettin caught in avalanches, or overshooting or undershooting something. so only tanner should be praised cause it was switch 9 over chads?

that's amazing!!! Yeah interviews are so progressive, I mean that's the nice frontier. Who cares about riding, progressive interviews. I wanna make an interview movie, completely dubbed
 
tbc is maybe the best movie for a non-skier cuz its entertaining, i didnt like the music but a non-skier can get into that while he is bored of war after watching jp auclair (for all who havent seen it, he got the first segment).

eh TBC was cool but definatley not progressive either ostness or rostrup had seen hot chocolate adn stolen the music....and all that stuff has been done before just not in the ski industry ...sure it looks cool but everyone is right it has the same jumps, mike wilson, and it nowhere near the best 'flowing' movie ive seen it was good but everyone oversells everything on NS liek shanghai six sure it was pretty good but everyone was saying it was better than skiing 4 ft of chow followed by sex in the gondola on the way up with (insert fantasy girl here)whatever,people make ski movies ill buy em and enjoy em because they are entertainment so uh yeah that about covers it i guess..

He was shooting with Bigger Picture since Evan Raps and Kye Petersen were skiing with him.

And I still think TBC is the best movie ever.

maybe they are doing the anti-hype where instead of saying they are doing a kick ass movie they won't do one at all....maybe.
 
read what you just wrote. honestly I cant believe you would even compare someone getting hurt in a cliff drop to tanners sw9 over chads. Fucking unbelievable. That was a day where BC booter history was rewritten. 54mph switch over a 120ft gap, in spring snow conditions. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of angles that captured that crash. It is one of the worst crashes ive ever seen.

Some dude breaking his leg dropping a 40 footer with a grab is horrible but it has nothing on tanners crash. Plus the fact that the guy was having a stellar year and has now come back from what could easily have been a career ending industry and is still one of the leaders of the sport. your a kook, if you honestly think that tanners crash is comparible to a normal park table crash your an idiot.
 
wtf? war is encredible. how could someone be bored after watchin jp's seg. sammy's and hatveit's segs are right after. there are so many cool features and huge airs on the hip. no one could be bored there. The entire movie is good. i cant believe you said that.
 
I'd rather hear it from a reliable source, with some evidence, instead of from a member with 150 posts.

Yeah, I know I have around that amount, but I don't go around spreading bullshit.
 
Well considering that 90% of the people on this site try to be black all the time, Im not suprised theres so much hate on TBC.

But for those of you who aren't gay then more power to ya, cause TBC is the best ski movie ever made, PERIOD.
 
now that were figured out that TBC is still on, i can dream of the madness that is yet to come. then shoulod make a film with just rails and rap now that theyve made an all jumps with electronica/alternrockish shit, it would be sick
