No more Simon Dumont hate

After the revolver trailer you really can't hate on Simon anymore. He was throwing down doubles in the back country, rodeo's over road's, the biggest wall ride ever and in every single interview everyone says watch for Simon's segment so this looks like its going to be crazy. I'm glad he filmed a lot this year cause he always gets dooked on when he just does comps.
 
don't really understand why simon dumont would ever get any kind of hate. who cares if he just did comps? he's still one of the sickest skiers in the sport

He gets hate becuase he is an ass. He gets hate because he treats people like they are beneath him. He gets hate because he throws temper tantrums about contest results (X-games multiple times on TV and at JOSS). He gets hate because he talks about how rich he is on a regular basis to people who are not at his financial level.
A little scoop for you folks out there who may not know.....Dumont was supposed to get the first male skiing FuelTV "First Hand", but one of the producers changed his mind after seeing him interact with someone who worked for Fuel and decided to go with another athlete.
The little guy is a real sick skier but he is hated for more than just being a contest rat....
 
Yeah, I lost some respect for him at joss, but he's still a sick skier and I look forward to his segment in revolver. And for those who doubt....

glad to see the old level 1 well-rounded dumont back.

maybe thats why he didnt do so hot at contests this year, he was busy filming epic stuff.
 
still hate him, he was a dick to a friend in N* during the dew tour and refused to have the bar down on the chairlift even though she was teaching a little kid to ski

or you know he crashed training for xgames. And the frenchies kicked his ass in the pipe bad.... And i thought he did good at dew tour a couple of times. But i really cant wait for his segment its gonna be awesome.
 
yeah, i've seen him skiing once or twice, and he seriously is an ass.

Also at poor boys premier last year in Boudler somebody from the audience called him short, and he goes, "yeah, but i'm fucking rich!" which solidified any doubts regarding wheather he was an ass or not.

Then as he walked off stage he puts his arms up and drops the microphone on the floor and walks off almost blowing the speakers and everybody's ears.

This is why i think he's an Ass and i hate.
 
Simon= Skilled skier

but also Simon= Rich Assface

and Skill-Injury= 0

so

Simon + injury= Rich Assface

its all math and this is all i want for christmas
 
It seems like everyone thinks hes an ass but, as Dew Tour snowbasin he was really nice to me on the gondola and he's probably only an ass cause when people scream out from the crowd "your short" he probably gets offended. Cause I know that he is effin short and he does too but, everyone I know who is short is like sensitive about that stuff lol.
 
hahaha simon dumont and tanner gets hate in skiing, sheckler in skateboarding, shawn white in snowboarding, I guess it's human nature to hate those who are better than us

He was pissed about the xgames results? boo fuckin hoo..maybe if you had an ounce of drive in your pathetic excuse of an existence you would appreciate someone who is very dedicated and driven towards achieving a goal they set for themselves..he doesnt enjoy losing, and it pushes him to become a better skier I say kudos for that it's put him at the top of the skiing industry
I have no idea if he is really a dick on the mountain or not, all i ever hear about is second hand stories about some "friend of a friend" of a kid on NS that bumped into him on a mountain and got chewed out..so i'll reserve my judgement for something grounded with a little more fact
 
So he came up with a comeback when someone insulted him? Would you have been happier if he took the insult like a coward, tucked his tail between his legs and walked away?
It's time for NS to clean the sand of their vag and jump off the simon hate bandwagon
 
im not defending dumont here becasue i do think that he shoudlve handeled it differently but here is how i see it

It was the poor boyz premier he was probably drunk or something

Also maybe that really gets on his nerves when people call him short i bet theres a ton of people on this site and in the world if called something you hated about you respond with something that is better about yourself. In this case being rich.

You guys judge pro's actions too easily so what if hes rich anyways some of the most unhappy people are rich.

But anyways stoked on his seg should be hood
 
The guy is a self-centred prick. Anything he does, is for his own benifit. His attitude sucks, and hes a horrible role model. He doesnt talk to anyone he feels is under him with any kind of respect. Thats why people hate him.
 
they're may be some reasons to hate but those are definitly not!I've met him once at the ski porn premiere in mtl, and he was super chill and nice with his fans.I dont respect what he did at joss, but im over it.
To the creator of this thread, no one ever hated on dumon because of his skiing, he's always been up there.
 
Exactly. There are always people who are going to hate on the best players/sports stars or whatever. More examples: Lebron James, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Kobe Bryant, I don't follow baseball but a lot of people hate on the great baseball players. There are many more examples of this in pretty much every sport. Simon Dumont is one of the best skiers around and people need to come to terms with that. Stop bitching.
 
I bet no one in this thread has ever met dumont and all these stories are made up, every story is my friend's friend or something.

 
That was a crowd vote. He knew that, so he did a crowd pleaser. People need to realized that it was a smart move, he used the crowd's smarts (or lack of) to get that medal.
 
There was a thread and a video/pictures of it. He got pissed when they announced the results. And no they got third because the judges thought their video deserved third.
 
and tom got pissed too..but you dont hear NS up in arms pissing and moaning about how he got upset, instead they just continue to ride his chub
They changed the scoring for the videos (to a really messed up and convoluted system) and simon got angry because he felt their edit was better than what placed above it (which it was)

Yeah, Tom was pissed off too, but like you said, no one cared about Tom, even though he was the one who leaked it, right? Team America did have the best edit, Team Canada's was okay, but nothing compared to Team America's.
 
why would u even post that? its completely irrelevant and maybe in backcountry Timmy D is a lot better but Simon is probably better at alot of other aspects in skiing
