Today was a sad day, i got my Alta seasons pass refunded today because i tore my acl on opening day.

dont get me wrong, I still feel bad. But if you're like 170 or under with 11 din, thats just dumb.

I'm 5'10' 155 lbs, and there's no way I'd put my din over 7. I dont think I've vere pre-released, if I have like, once or twice MAYBE, and I've also never had a torn acl or mcl. Just saying, keep the Din to what it's supposed to be people or buy some new fuckin bindings, that or fuck your body up like our poor Denali friend here

I'm 6 foot 150 pounds and I landed a 20 foot drop at bridger yesterday and it was pretty smooth and my din was set at 8 and my left ski popped off and it wasn't like a harsh landing or anything But I was haulin balls so it made me eat it hard. sucked ass, but 11 is up there though

Well he prolly weighs more than 170 and he's got those 'AT' bindings I think and he skis pretty aggresivley.

you can have you din set at 3 and tear your acl. The din has nothing to do with acl tears most bindings wont even release when your straining your acl

 
Of course you could have Marker's set at 18 and they would probaly pop you out just making a turn.

Sorry to hear about your ACL, but hey at least they refunded your pass.

 
That blows man. Getting hurt ealry season blows. I always try to take it easy for the first month. But I slightly retorn my rotator cuff yesterday, first dy out. I though it was healed after all the rehabbing I've done. But I fell landing switch and now I'm practically back to where I was in April. But why would you crank up you bindings like that. I'd have 'em at like 7 early season so I didn't get broke off.

get line reactors for sure my dad was looking into them at salomon r+d and their bringing out a copy pretty soon; as is marker. reactors are so much safer than fixed pivot bindings for acls especially

dude that sucks...and 11 isnt high if you is a decent rider, I weigh like 150 and I set my din to 14, and they pop when I crash hard enough
