No features at pc opening day

:( but soon... they'll be blowing snow in our area at night when we open as well so we'll be able to start pushing soon.

there were so many little thing to jib around on...gahhh so fun and i can't wait to have some rails and stuff. woo!

haha i got bitched out by some gaper lady in the fuckin lift line. but after the freezing weather it was pretty fun.

I got my pass hotlisted already by some power tripping douchebag ski patroller for "skiing recklessly"...and I wasn't even doing anything.  No jumping over signs, no spraying gapers MFM style, no cutting people off, nothing.  I was just skiing down the hill facing forwards.  He asked me for my pass, and I asked if there was a problem, and he was just extremely disrespectful--when I started to explain that I was 100% in control and I wasn't skiing very fast and I didn't understand what I did wrong, he was all like "You better stop talking or you're just going to make things worse."  He said something about me not making enough turns.  He also said, "Even though you may be in control, you have to understand that beginners suck and can do anything at anytime."  That makes sense...

I feel like Park City discriminates against good skiers. They have in that park safety code something to the effect of "Remember, terrain park features are for everyone to enjoy regardless of ability level or riding style!"  I'm okay with the idea that gangster steezers and emo kids have equal box sliding rights, but I'm not okay with the idea that the landings of 50-foot tables are a great place for families to practice their wedge turns. If I'm going to get my pass taken for skiing on a beginner trail, I think beginners who shouldn't be in the park should get their passes taken for skiing in the park, but it doesn't work that way. I feel like if I would have been like "I just learned how to ski this morning, but I don't know how to stop or turn yet!" the ski patroller would have been like, "Okay, have a great day, keep practicing!"

Then later my boyfriend got yelled at for standing on his noses in the lift line.

Thank god Brighton opens tomorrow.

Hey farva, what's that restaraunt you like with the posters all over the walls?

Looking like monday for features. I'll know for sure tomorrow. I'll post a blog. with pictures. 'n stuff.

WOW Kristie, wow, that is really weird, we were straight lining the whole run switch

yesterday and today and nobody yelled at us. I did get yelled at though

when we tried to play ice block football...i guess that is unsafe...

Dude, I was doing butters under that same rope. Maybe I just never heard anyone yelling cause I was rocking headphones...

so thats why park city has good parks so the patrol guys don't have to yell at people buttering little mounds and tapping dirt piles. its gottta be the struggle
