so im about to mount some sth 16s on some 4frnt turbos so i can go to crystal next weekend. the breaks are 130 and the skis are 104. im pretty sure the breaks are gonna be too big so would it be bad if i just didnt use breaks since salomon breaks are pretty easy to take on and off. what do you think?

just get some smaller brakes, salomon brakes are so easy to get, and usually pretty cheap.

But don't ski without, its not just that the ski has no break, but you will stand about 5mm lower in the heel, so you will not get consistent releases. If you cant get smaller brakes use the 130's just keep your feet apart and dont lean the ski over.

You cant really get stuff directly off the site, salomon dont do direct sales. Any shop that stocks salomon will have them hopefully, or try some online shops.

no, leave your breaks on or get some different ones, but at the very least have something so you dont kill a gaper with a rouge ski

yeah all STH's use the same brakes, and you can infact take the brake arms from any salomon brake and put them into your STH brake plate. If your not sure what I mean, a shop will easily be able to rebuild the brake for you, if you can just find the brake arms.

alot of people usually need bigger breaks so if you take them to your local ski shop or where you bought them they will trade them out for you usually. I took mine to evo and traded for some smaller ones. it might cost a little if you didnt buy from there but def. worth asking.
