No boots for me?

I have really small feet. Im a size 7 but i wear size 8's because my foot is really wide. I went to 3 boot fitters today and they all tell me im a 24.5 in ski boots. apparently the smallest size stores have in stock anywhere and everywhere is 25.5. they said they can order 24.5 but then i would be stuck with them if they didn't fit well. wtf. am i shit out of luck? what should i do?

tape sneakers to your skis.

no but that really sucks man hope you find some boots, what have you worn in past seasons

are you sure that is the shops policy?

i was in a kind of similar situation, but with a 25 shell, my shop said they would order them, and if they didn't fit they would keep them as stock, so no big deal for you

if its not like that, good luck

In the past I would rent so they didn't really give a shit how they fit.

but the last store i went to had me try on 25.5 full tilts and they fit really well but were a tad too loose in the toe area. The guy said he would order 24.5's and if i didn't like 'em no big deal. but still i think it's fucking ridiculous that they don't have 24.5's in stock.

thats good, but from their point of view it makes sense, not many people but boots that small, and its easier for them to order them

i hope it works out

usually at that size (for brands we cary) the shells on really small and really big sizes are for multiple size so like a 24.5 and a 25.5 shell are the same and a 30.0 and a 31.0 are the same shell just the liner is diffrent so try them on anyway and if they are a decent fit the smaller liner should really make the difference.

no i dont think i will. junior anything's are usually a lot crappier quality. besides, all companies make 24.5 boots, the stores just don't order them

don't do this. the plastic is much thinner and the liners are not nearly as nice. Basic shops tend not to carry men's 24.5 or women's 22.5- they don't want the inventory "risk". Any shop that prides itself on its boot-fitting will carry all available sizes- go find those shops. They might not carry all models but they will be able to find the right shell for you, and worst case order you the right boot based on the correct shell fit.

You could look into a Salomon custom shell if it is a real big problem. Freestyle specific boots are not totally necessary for riding park.

The shop that I work at only carries 24.5 in junior and women, there are not many men who wear that size.

unfortunately i live in NJ so there are no shops like that. Best shop around here is gonna order me 24.5's. but yeah, there's a reason junior boots are so much cheaper - they are of a lot worse quality.

if you feel like making the drive south a bit, I'm sure I can set you up in some boots. I'd have to see what we have left in a 24 shell, but I normally have 3 or 4 models..

If the 25.5 FT's fit well except slightly big in the toe area then just order the 24.5s and you'll most likely be happy. Plus if they dont fit they already said there is no risk for you... pull the trigger and get them ordered before you dont even have the option to order the boot.

24.5 tecnica Agent 120 and 110. Ingrid wears them and I know they didn't build a complete last just to mold her boots. Plus, tecnica's are hig volume so they should be easy to fit to your foot (regardless of foot shape) as long as you go in and see a pro boot fitter. Just ask lots of questions to make sure he/she is a trained bootfitter and not a hack.

Also junior boots will be way too soft. What side of 24.5 are you? A lot of times nordica's have a shorter sole length. Depending on how fat your foot is you might be able to do something like a hot rod 85 in a 25.5.

are you me? haha i have the same problem. I'm a size 7 and I've been to 2 shops recently and everyone only carries a 7.5 or an 8 an up. I tried on some dalbellos in a 7.65 an they felt good, but I think I still need a 7. Especially if they were gonna be heat molded. Try some on, they might fit you.
