No bluehouse in SIA tradeshow?

I realize bluehouse is a small company(I ride a pair) but I don't understand why they wouldn't/didn't try to put there stuff in the SIA tradeshow, it would only help...

probobly (my guess) is because its a tough econmoy. just like a bunch of car companys pulled out of the detriot auto show because they cant spair the cost...i have no idea why they wouldnt though

The purpose of SIA is to sell your product to vendors. That is stores, places like jibij, evogear, backcountrry and your local ski shop. SIA, is when all the buyers from the retailers from the US and Canada come to see what each company has for next year, and decide what they want to buy.

Since bluehouse, only sells through their online store (at least I think so), there is no reason for them to show up to SIA and spend the money on a booth, since it won't result in an increase in sales.

ya you pretty much hit it on the spot.

They want to create a really reliable customer following first, which they're doing by having one of the most customer friendly deals and warranties out there. SIA is super expensive, so its in their 5 year plan, but it wouldn't be a financially smart descision to of done it this year.
