so i recently found out that the landslides were so bad that they werent even going to reopen the road this summer and the ski area wasnt going to be open.

 
im not sure how long it is going to be closed, because i think it was brian schweitzer that said they were calling people in and are going to work as fast as they possibly can to open it up, because it is big for tourism.

 
according to the ski area they might not get it open this summer. lets hope there wrong but i have my doubts that they are, the slides sounded real bad

 
ive been hearin around here no camps, non the redlodge ppl wanna go up so no cats + no road= no camps or skiing

Yeah so....when the going gets tough the tough get going. Empire is going to Mammoth. June 19 - 28

The crew went to Red Lodge last week to see what we could do. The snow looks good but the long detour around the wyoming side makes it impracticle for the owners to operate.

Empire tried everything to make it happen, but no go.
