^no, actually the majority of people that attend nmu aren't from the upper peninsula, most students come from wisconsin, lower michigan, chicago area, or minnesota

most of the time this place can party, every once in awhile it can get slow. girls, depends on how good you are at meeting them... the school, is as hard or as easy as you make it...
