NMU STUDENTS

Going up to school at NMU this coming fall, and just trying to get to kno some people up there. anyone go there?

i go to nmu. pretty cool scene up here. lots of skiers, everyone is friends pretty much.

I go to Michigan Tech an hour and a half north, but mqt is sick and i'll be down there a few times this fall-winter to bike and ski with some friends.

My cousin goes there. Not on NS but a skier tho.

It's pretty cool, you can really ride with anybody. Everyone is pretty chill and some people can throw down hard...

Yea i'm a Freshman at Northern this year. Already got my season pass and waitin for some snow. Where you stayin?

Agreed. NMU sucks. Tech is way better, and a lot closer to Bohemia.

Hey tech people go to another thread if you have nothing better to say. Were just askin who to ski with, don't turn it into which school is better.

Marquette is freakin sweet, just bring a mountain bike and some skis and you'll be set. The only time that I'll be up there is Superpark but its just a cool town with a good vibe and cool people. You'll have no problem meeting cool people who ski and do other cool stuff.

I can't blame you for that... Tech is a little lacking in that department. Other than that though, I like Tech way better. It's better academically and closer to Bohemia. Also, both times I've been to NMU, I've had to deal with a bunch of idiots trying to pick a fight. For such a chill town, it's got some real douchebags.
