I'm heading to Niseko for the season with every other Aussie. Any NS' been lucky enough to score a job in the powder kingdom? Feel free to shoot me a message but be warned cause there's no friends on a pow day!
 
Nice one! Where are you working? Seems like there's a few NS'ers planning on Japan trips this season.

I'm instructing for NBS and so stoked to get over there.

I'll definitely be getting to Rusutsu at some point and hopefully get a chance to see some other resorts when i'm over there. Just not sure where i'll get a chance to yet. Any suggestions?
 
Nice, I'm sure you'll have a great winter. (Although Niseko's opening was cancelled this weekend, but we should get a good amount of snow this week, so they should open next weekend.)

Nearby, Kiroro is worth a trip, even if it is a little flat.

If you can take a few days off, go and stay in Sapporo for a bit. Check out the city in the evenings and ski at Kokusai and/or Teine. Both are quite small ski areas, but have alot of incredible tree skiing.
 
Sick man! I work for NBS, we'll definitely go for a shred. You might get to work at Rusutsu as well, 25 of us teach there for a week in Jan. I often go on a trip around Hokkaido in Feb as well, this year looks super busy though, so not sure yet.

A week Rusutsu sounds amazing, i'd be so keen for that. Im on a short term contract so unless I get it extended I should have plenty of time for roadtrippin, stoked!
