Awsome NS a broadcast of the Big and Halfpipe! Does anybody know if the slopestyle will be broadcast? It's on today!
 
Hi Guys,

Sorry, no broadcast of the Slopestyle portion of the event, at least not yet. We will have it eventually, but the course was not wired for a live mix so it may take a little while for the TV crew in charge of production to get us an edited version.

I'll be on hill today shooting a highlight video though, so I'll try to get as much as I can.

For the Big Air broadcast on Saturday night and the Halfpipe on Sunday, we'll be getting the live TV feed and then uploading it in chunks to NSTV. There will be a bit of a delay with that process but with the time difference it shouldn't be too bad for everyone in North America.

Check out the NSTV page throughout the weekend for the updated playlist. We'll do our best to get as much online as fast as possible.

Did some more testing on the streaming today and we should be good to go with only a few hours of delay for Saturday's Big Air.

Unfortunately we won't have a live chat this time and announcing will be in mostly Japanese, but the video quality ought to be very high and should hopefully make up for the lack of a real live feed.

Big Air jump is looking good and the halfpipe is almost ready for Saturday's qualifying heats. Stay tuned!

 
Any idea what time the broadcasts will start. I was told that the big air starts around 8:00pm (local japan time). Will there be a delay befor the NS broadcast?
 
Yeah guys, like I said there will be a bit of a delay with the webcasts.

Will update this thread with info as I have it. Still stay tuned for halfpipe semis and finals Sunday unless weather decides to mess with that event as well.

 
i just want to see mike clarke throw down the steeziest double corks ive ever seen, they looked epic.
 
Sunday morning here in Japan, and it's still snowing and blowing quite a bit. Hoping that the halfpipe comp goes down as planned today. Will keep you updated as the day progresses.

Big Air was unfortunately cancelled due to the massive amount of snow today.
