Ninthward

How are they're skis? How do they hold up? I got a pair of suspects and we all know they won't be lasting for very much longer, so im thinking about getting a pair of the e-dollo pro models. there's never a lot of talk about ninthward here so i'm curious to see what people have to say

I've never ridden them but some people love some models and some people say they are shitty skis in general. I saw a pair at a ski swap and they looked like they had been beaten to shit. The reason you don't hear much about them on here is they didn't pay for some advertising, so until recently, mods would delete any threads/posts that talked about them (because any publicity is good publicity).

A less polite way of saying this would be they fucked a bunch of people over and after a few years NS decided to be the better man and give them another chance.

you seem to know all about this incident.

as stated above, they locked down their quality control, all skis are made in the elan factory.

iv'e got the hhp's. they are by far the sickest ski i have ever ridden. However the edge is on its way to falling off. although I have ridden close to 100 days on them of pretty much solely rails. otherwise they have held up pretty well and for the price i will for sure be buying another pair.

So quality has gotten better? Because they used to be shit apparently. Like one season before they need to be replaced

yeah dude, a few season's back they had problems with core material and laminate, but they have seriously upped it. the elan factory is no joke.

i picked up the comtes for this season and they are the stiffest motherfuckers i have ever stood on. i talked to shane about a ski with a nice flex that would work well for rails and these are basically the polar opposite. the only time i would want to shred these is carving off the lip of an 80 foot stepover

as a kid i was heavy into mogul skiing and i basically felt like i was riding centermounted 1080 moguls, pintails with 2x4 flex.

build quality is awesome though, bases are sick edges are buff and everything about the ski is quality

heres to hoping they break in haha

I have last years LT's and they are dope. They are stiff and poppy. I ride them pretty hard, and with the exception of a little chipping, they still ride like they are new.

alright some specs: im 6', 170. will be spending 90% of the time in the park. I'm skiing 50% jumps and 50% rails. i have a pair of salmon suspects at the moment. was looking into the hhps. what do you recommend?

I had a pair of FirstBloods that I used for park and I absolutely loved them. if you're into a stiff(ish) park ski, you'll really like these. I'm 6'3 and 170.

I just oredered and received (today) a pair of 183cm rory silva pros, they look sick and i got them soo cheap from levelninesports.com, skis were $269 and bindings, good ones were 139. sick deals there go look for sure.

you are going to love them. no doubt,. i got rorys and they are the best everything ski i have ever ridden.

Like they rip big mountain, still good in the park, and can hold a good edge on piste.
