Does anyone have this helmet? I want to get it but I'm not sure if it is really worth it. I just recently started to listen to my iPod while I ski and it seems like a good idea. How does it perform.

She's like that dorky Baldwin brother who isn't as good-looking or successful and never answers my letters, but he's still a Baldwin, damn it!

 
It is a sweet helmet. It only cost a litle more for the audio version, and it is so much better than using head phones. The way I see it is spend an extra $10-$15 an get the audio version, even if you dont use it all the time, it is the same price for a set of head phones. A couple of times I have had the music muted when I am skiing and have a crash, as I have been rag dolling down the mountain, I have bumped the mute button and all of a sudden the music kicks in and I have shat my self.

I promoted my CVS and Stop and Shop card from the inside slits to the outside ones...my Blockbuster and gym ID got pissed off, but I told them, sorry guys, laminated plastics just can't cut it in the big leagues
 
If you don't care about sound quality then they might be a good idea. If you do then you should probably invest in a good pair of earphones and mod the non-audio Nine.9, which would make more sense to me because I care about sound.

My parents make me wear a helmet when i ski and i used to where those big sony headphones and i can't really tell a difference in the sound quality.

I've listened to them before. They get the job done, but still, they are relatively cheap headphones. Probably because I hjave been spoiled from listening to my Etymotics Er-4P's.

Thank you I'm quite fond of it. I have the hat and people have thought it was a yankees hat which makes me wonder if it is worth wearing.

The colors should give it away but you usually never notice

yo the nine.9 is super comfortable, and the audio tune ups make the helmet sick, giro es en fuego, plus its not 2 expensive, as for the ipod, gotta love em, but i dont want 2 ski with mine, to expensive to risk a break

i need a helmet but i dont wear them often....i only wear helmets for comps
