Nikon D5500?

So i'm looking at getting my first DSLR for a mixture of taking video and photo. I have a fairly basic knowledge and after some research I've narrowed it down to the GH3 and the Nikon D5500.

Now its not hard to find out the majority of newschoolers opinion on the GH3 by searching the forum but has anyone had any experience with the D5500? (or the D5300 as they seem very similar)

Ther s no AA filter in the 5500 hundred and it's got a great processor as far as images go it's hard to beat. For video it's not the best and you would probably want the GH3. Have you considered the canon 70d though I know a few people who love them for video and they take great pictures as well
