NIKLAS KARLSTROM PRO MODEL

Regardless of whether Niklas "deserves" a pro model, 4FRNT is letting him design the next ski in their line. It's more about his input on shape and sidecut, and flex, which is the point behind a rider-owned company. Besides, would you rather have Niklas design the next ski, or some guy in front of a computer in a cubicle?

 
i like it how kids who have NO idea what they are talking about here try to come on here and have valid opinions. for example... someone just said that niklas broke out 1-2 seasons ago? well you may have HEARD of him 1 -2 seasons ago... but remember... he doesnt live in the us... he is a god in europe

 
I wan't saying Candide is unprogressive. Candide rocks. I was saying that it is bad luck (unprogressive) for the company to give him a pro model because it seems like every time he gets one he switched teams, which wouln't be a good thing for Rossi. Someone who says Candide isn't progressive is an idiot.

candide isn't getting his own pro model on rossi, he's using the same FS or BC that everyone else on the team is using.

Yah, back when FREEZE did a "Contenders" feature on him a year or two back, he was just starting to make a real name for himself in the states but was already huge in Europe.

right on bro. i think you should get a pro model when all of a sudden, kids everywhere in the park are trying to look, and ride like the pro in question. keep in mind, newschoolers represents the whole world, so im sure, and correct me if im wrong, but a lot of kids in europe are probably trying to replicate his style, just like everyone in the us rocks forced gorilla steeze to try to look like tanner, who doesnt even ski with that much primate style anymore. i think it is fitting that NK is getting a pro model, but i also think that LVV is a little more deserving. he cut his balls for god sakes

not quite RS, both parties are right here. Rossignol hasnt given him a genuine pro model, yet. however, he is the driving force behind the next generation rossi twinnie, due out in a couple years. whether its his pro model or just a dank ski, its yet to be determined, but if it follows the pattern of candide-influenced skis, it should be pretty dank

The might be others that deserve a pro model more, but its up to 4frnt, and who cares just look at it like its a new ski from 4frnt, with some guys name on it

and then back in forth. if your just gonna repeat the same stupidity as said before, then dont post. and yeah, all 4frnts are pro models. and 4frnts definition of a pro model is a little differnt than alot of companies, which just tweak graphics and flex of an existing ski. a 4frnt pro model is a COMPLETELY new ski, designed to meet every little demand of the rider. which means, you are ridding niklas's dream ski. and whether he deserves one or not, i can garentee you its gonna be one hell of a ski, and like the MSP and STL, it wouldnt surpise me if its one of the best all mountain skis out there.

oh yeah, and part of rossi's deal with candide, is that instead of just giving him a pro model, they pretty much handed over control of the scratch line, (the only reason they finally changed them). so no, he doesnt have his own ski, but hes got an entire line of skis to call his own.

Ok Niklas is sick. Im surprised he's already getting a pro model but it makes sense. He's the next in line. He has insane style on his blunts, has been doing good in lots of comps and is a part owner of 4FRNT so who else would they give it to?

i don't think he was talking about how candide is unprogressive as a sicker he was just stating that fact that candide is unprogressive to a company because everytime he gets a promodel he leaves for another company, which is apparent by simple observation.
