Nike skiing?

At the mountain today there was a kid in full nike outerwear (pretty dope looking), and a bad leuitenat with a big swoosh stitched into it and everything said nike 6.0 . I know theres an old thread about it, but does anyone know if theyre trying to get into skiing like they have with skateboarding? I know they sponsor bode, but im wondering if this is their next big thing...
 
Thats my freind tucker, you were skiing at waterville. Yeah hes on nike and rossi. They gave him 8 full suits, all of which look pretty dope. He skis for WVFT.
 
im curious, what have they done in skateboarding.. i dont recall anything, im not really INTO it but its not like , oh im going to get a new deck, oh yeah what kind, nike! lol..
 
andreas hatveit is on Nike ACG i think, Nike 6.0 (what tucker's on) is the kid's dealy. there's some ill stuff they make.
 
i saw him today! boy i feel cool! He rips wayyy hard than what those video show on the website.
 
nike makes sweet skateboarding shoes. They put alot out but most are limited run with crazy colors etc so they end up costing alot
 
I really like nike. When Im skiing, I usually use my nike windbreakers and starter jacket. Sometimes, when it's really cold when I go skiing at breckenridge on Martin Luter King weekend, I will duct tape handwarmers everywhere aorund my body and wear a turtle neck.

thats fucking gay...nike killed Savier in skateboarding now what do they have to take over in skiing. omg thats so gay dude hopefully they will go bankrupt soon.
 
Everyone use to skate with Nikes back in the day before "skate shoes" became popular. Besides, they make sick skate shoes now.
 
those suits Tucker has are pretty dope. I was pretty confused when i first saw them, but they are definitly good gear, and well.. if nike wants to throw money at our sport, I say let them, as long as they don't start taking a lot of business away from the companies that support our sport 100%.

nike are already in skiing with ACG. There gonna kill tahe industry. undercutting the core brands. soon the smaller companies are gonna be force out. same with adidas and goggles. why would anyone actually consider buying them when there are better more competivly priced alternatives avalible? i agree with the ski indusrty needing to grow but i think nike and other multi-national companies trying to buy the market is the wrong way to promote growth!
 
that would be cool I have been wanting a skate shoe company to step up and make a boot for ever but nike will do. I bet tons of people would buy them if they actually looked into a sweet park boot
 
well the "core brands" should make some better clothing, because until then i refuse to buy any of their sponges they call clothing. i'd rather have quality clothing than a name on it that shows that i'm "core".
 
word. they don't give a shit about any of the sports we do- they just want to make as much money as possible off our sorry asses.

I have nike fleeces, pants and jackets and they are just as good as my oakleys and HH gear
