A hoodies ability to keep you warm is not a good measure of its quality. I have a $500 shell jacket that doesn't keep me warm if I don't layer properly.
As for their shoes, they range in price from $40-$200+. You pay for what you get. I've had cheap shoes that fell apart quickly and I have a pair of $200 nike weightlifting shoes that I've used almost everyday for a year and it looks like I just took them out of the box.
Nike makes some crappy stuff, but they also make some of the best in the world and they have a lot of money to put into product development. IF they wanted to make a ski boot, I have no doubts they would hire the right people and make a good product. I'm all for more products on the market if it means a better product at more affordable prices.
I don't see it happening for a long, long time, if ever, so this thread should just die.
