Nike ski boots

Opening weekend at boreal I'm waiting at the top of the lift for a buddy and it just so happens Sammy Carlson is on the chair behind me. I notice it's him, nod and say "what up Sammy." Expecting him to just nod and ski off, he does the exact opposite. Stops asks me my name, how I'm doing, what I think about the Olympics, honestly the nicest guy! Anyway I notice he is wearing these all black boots that I have never seen. Ask him what they are and when he lifts his pants unveiling the bright white nike swoosh. Nike?!? I know they have fucking with the snowboard boots for a while now but ski boots is a whole different game. Anyone else seen them or heard anything from nike?
 
I highly doubt it, probably just some unbranded Salomons (since that is what he had before) with Nike branding. Nike doesn't even make their own goggles, so I can't imagine them dropping 1.5 million Euros on ski boot molds.
 
I did, but I couldn't really get a good look at them. Is it possible, yes. Is it likely, no. There are more than a few new boots out for next year already worn by the athletes, and my guess is that it is a rebrand of one of those. I've seen almost every brands' boots for next year already and I have not heard of any real Nike boots. If they do launch their own actual ski boot, it will be the best kept secret in the history of ski boots.
 
i think the nordica dude said in the other thread about this that he rides their boots, meaning nike gave him something to cover them with
 
My dads roommate is one of the lead designers for nike outerwear and I asked him about it. He said no, there are no nike ski boots being made
